We are all more connected than we might realize. My story has its unique twists and turns and yet there is some thread in it that feels familiar to others. I’ve spent the last 17 years having the honor of being in service to others with whom my path has crossed when some spark connected us, causing part of my story to feel like part of their story.
I have lived through certain traumas, health issues, and have come out the other side. I find my greatest joy is supporting others who have found themselves walking a similar path. If I can assist in the journey of even one person, I am fulfilled.
I was raised, the seventh of eight children, living through some traumatic times. My siblings bonded like war buddies. They felt like angels guarding me on this earth. And then it shattered when two of my siblings were diagnosed with HIV and succumbed to complications of AIDS. This changed my life in such profound ways that it took decades to even begin to process.
Within a year of their passing, I was getting sick on a regular basis. I had vertigo so severe that I couldn’t stand up and it took me three weeks to regain the ability to walk. I would later learn that this was an early sign of multiple sclerosis. Fast forward, 18 years. At the height of my entrepreneurial business and technology career, I was overcome one morning with neurological and physical symptoms that prevented me from working. I was sleeping 12 hours a night, immediately after work and on weekends, I was sleeping eight hours a day. Eventually, I had leg drag, optic neuritis in both eyes, severe cognitive issues, and daily chronic fatigue for three hours a day.. And if one doctor‘s diagnosis is to be believed, I also had Lyme disease. More symptoms piled on. I lived with MS, establishing my new “normal”. It affected everything including my abilities and identity in my work, as a wife, a mother, and with myself. Soon I had to stop working. After living with this for ten years, I healed from MS despite western medicine saying this is not possible.
Immediately upon healing I was struck down with other symptoms, such as asthma, a mysterious infection, and my life force energy was draining from me. It felt as if I was dying a slow death. I came to realize that I was exposed to mold and other biotoxins for at least 7 years and was diagnosed with what is referred to as Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) or Biotoxin Illness. Two years later I healed from this.
About AnneMarie
My Journey
What I Offer
I have studied and traveled the world to find ways to heal. Many therapies are available but often not familiar to those who could benefit from them. I also came to understand that healing is an inside job. Remembering who we are, as our most authentic selves, and living from this is fundamental to healing. I found tools for personal transformation and healing was a by-product.
Shortly after being diagnosed with MS, I began volunteering with those newly diagnosed. I knew the process could be better than what I had experienced. I armed myself with as much knowledge as I could. Then I learned about CIRS when that came into my life. In many ways this was more complicated than healing from MS since both your body and your environment are “sick”. I learned everything I could to heal both and did.
As I have healed from these illnesses and other physical limitations, I have been motivated to support others in their healing process.

-
I connect individuals to practitioners, teachers, podcasts, books, etc. that I rely on which resonate and further support their healing process.
I believe that everyone can heal and I offer a different way of looking at illness. The knowledge, insights, and wisdom I share come from having walked this path. The resources I offer are ones I have personally worked with. And the guidance, support, and inspiration I convey is all to lighten your load.
I am an “inner doula”. “Doula” in Greek means a woman who serves, a guide through threshold moments, holding space, and offering sacred support through transformation. And” inner” is to witness you while you remember what’s within you, the light that you are, and just how powerful you are. This is an inward journey that has emotional and physical results. I offer this reflection of the light I see in you and the awareness and inspiration from my life experience of what is possible.

The Medicine of You
Only you can choose your path. Only you can feel into what resonates with you, to discover or rediscover your power. I cannot do this for you, nor would you want me to. I am not a sherpa, carrying what is weighing you down, and pushing you or your boulder up the hill. At times you will sit in the fire and only you can make your way out. I will be by your side, as you wish, to support you on your path. You will increasingly have moments of calm, of courage, of confidence, and of bliss.
I have learned from many teachers and have learned many lessons. These are what I have to offer. In my unique way of researching, understanding, synthesizing, processing, communicating, and embodying the teachings, I model how to create ease in your journey of rediscovering yourself and the process of coming back to a whole and healthy you. I am here to help you discover the medicine of you.
